seder

So what was served at your seder?? I’ve got to get MomGiraffe to send the recipe for the chicken because it was AWESOME. And the other stuff was pretty darn good too!!!

Was it a chicken seder or a brisket seder? And what did my pre-Noah, veggie friends eat???

Chicken & Persian Stew (with beef) for Passover (Nights 1 & 2), but I have a brisket in the oven right now for dinner tonight. YUM.

seder was great. as one of those pre-noahites, i skipped the brisket and (gulp) lamb and chowed on the potato kugel, non-chicken soup with matzah balls, and veggies…plus i hate a hard-boiled egg and a piece of gefilte fish (cuz i do eat fish). i didn’t starve. oh, and lemon squares, pesadik brownies…mmm….pics up on my monday post:-)

First night, we had chicken *and* brisket. Second night, not sure what was had, as before the afikomen was even broken, I broke down in chills, and had to go home, where I found I had a temp of 103. Pesach dinner that night was soup.

Ours was both chicken and briskit–each a special recipe that Momgiraffe uses only for Pesach. Second night was our congregational seder–chciken (and no briskit). Monday was broccoli-feta matzah quiche with slow-roasted potatoes and sauteed mushrooms on a bed of spinach, and tonight was zuchini fritata and salad. I love Pesach! We’ve also been enjoying some lovely Israeli wines…l’chaim!
