Beware the Ides of Adar

Did you happen to catch a glimpse of the full moon on Tuesday night?
****
“Look at the moon tonight, Sweetie, isn’t beautiful?”
The wife moaned something that sounded like a curse.
The man, who has never quite grown accustomed to his wife’s oddities, inquired, “what”s wrong?”
“That moon means one thing and one thing only. Pesach is just four weeks away!”

ROTFL
See my post today on just this subject 🙂
It sure was a gorgeous moon!!!!
Have you planned the charity bake off yet?
So glad you are back! I had just discovered your blog before you disappeared.
Uh, huh. Like the joke about the Jewish community living under a repressive regime. They are not allowed to celebrate any Jewish rituals.
One week before Pesach the rabbi comes home, smiling.
“Good news!” he says to his wife. “The terrible decree has been rescinded.”
“Oh,” sighs his wife.
“Why so glum?” asks the rabbi.
“Couldn’t you have waited until after Pesach?”
