Now many of you know that the Frummies have been threatening to put Beit Frummie on the market in order to move closer to shul. At the beginning of the summer, PC and I packed away all of our winter clothes.

[For the record, such an action just about sent an ENGRAVED invitation to the Evil Eye to make certain that we WOULDN’T get the house on the market until well after the summer had passed.]

Anyway, we packed away all of our winter clothes thinking that we would be in new digs by the time the brisker weather arrived.

So now the brisker weather has threatened to arrive and I send PC to the garage to bring out the winter clothes. Only no clothes to be found. Gone. No where to be found.

Now, I couldn’t imagine what would have possessed PC to get rid of my winter stuff. But after several attempts to locate them, efes. Nothing. Zilch.

So here we are…several weeks have passed…and PC located my clothes.

In a box marked…PC’s Clothes.

The Case of the Missing Clothes? Case Closed.

I’m sorry, I’m totally transfixed by the idea that you Californians need winter clothes?

    Brisker weather?

    I’m so confused.

Let me help. Anything under 70 degrees requires a sweater for lots of people. Any rain at all and traffic comes to a complete stop. No wait, it’s like that most of the time anyway.
We only talk about weather in Southern California because we have none!
    🙂

In a similar vein, I just finally found a carton of precious pictures miislabled “garage”. Only it was in my own handwriting!

When I went to college in Massachusetts, I brought more sweaters along than anyone else I became friends with and I was from CA. Seems reasonable, except for the fact that none of those sweaters were new. I was just cold all the time. I think it is because my resting body temp is almost two degrees lower than everyone else’s.

For the record, we do have temperature shifts out here. I mean, it’s not as if it is in the 90’s year round.

And I visited PG’s college and I think they didn’t heat the buildings. I was visiting from ITHACA where it is FREEZING most of the year…and I was absolutely paralyzed by the cold in MA.
