Ten years ago, my grandmother, z”l, started a new Seder tradition; each person would sign the Haggadah he or she used at the Seder. To be more precise, it didn’t become a tradition until nine years ago. Whenever possible, a guest would receive the same Haggadah he or she used the prior year.
Now Grandma’s Haggadah passes into the hands of the next generation. She’d be so pleased.
Frume Sarah is Shabbos-observant -- in a Reform way, that is. Please note that from Friday afternoons until one hour after sundown on Saturday evenings, Frume Sarah will be unavailable, in observance of the Jewish Sabbath.

We used to do that, too, though we didn’t give each guest the same Hagaddah. It was always fun to look back and see who had been part of our holidays in years past!
I know. I love that. We also have a guest book that is used at RH and Pesach. It’s fun to see who has joined us throughout the years.

Yeah…I feel the same way. It’s sad but so lovely at the same time. Her eyes grew large when she saw which Haggadah she was given. This was the first year that she had her own as she is now reading.
